This is an introductory course that explains the evolution of agriculture, clarifies clearly the differences between agriculture, agronomy and horticulture,  the scope and the importance of agronomy and its correlation to the wider society. 

The course is designed to build knowledge in the topics that make up the basis of Agronomy.

The course will outline all important basic principles and practices related to agronomy.
